Grateful to have been part of this inspiring panel at QHR Technologies in honour of International Women’s Day! 🌟

Our WIL Okanagan Chapter Chair, Shauna Stewart Douglas, joined City of Kelowna Councillor Mohini Singh and UBC Okanagan Girls in Tech President Jayati Gupta for a powerful discussion on breaking down barriers, building confidence, and fostering inclusive workplaces.

A huge thank you to Shannon Ballance for bringing us together and facilitating such an engaging conversation. These discussions are so important in shaping the future of leadership, and we look forward to continuing them.

The Women in Leadership Foundation was founded by Maya Kanigan. Her mission is to create inspirational programs that bring women together in developing their leadership skills, create positive change in the future of Women's leadership in Canada and around the world. The Okanagan Chapter was created to support this mission and inspire the talent women of not only Kelowna area but all towns, cities between Vernon to Penticton. The beautiful Okanagan Valley is in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. The area is renowned for its hot sunny climate in the summer and Champagne powder in the winter, with a variety of recreational activities the concept of the Wellness Chapter was born.
