🎗️ Breast Cancer Awareness Day 💗 October 13th

Knowledge. Early detection. Better outcomes.

Breast cancer can affect anyone. Raising awareness, recognizing changes in your body, and accessing appropriate screening can make a difference.

💗 Know the signs and speak with a healthcare provider about any unusual changes.
🎗️ Learn about your risk and recommended screening options.
🤝 Support those affected by breast cancer.
🌸 Advocate for accessible, culturally safe, and compassionate care for everyone.

Together, we can raise awareness, strengthen support, and make a difference.

The Government of Canada has a duty to consult on projects that may impact the rights of Indigenous people Canada, which means that MNBC is often consulted on natural resource development projects such as pipelines and dams. With the creation of the government of Canada Major Projects office, the speed of consultation and review of these projects is increasing.

MNBC is looking to develop recommendations for updates to our consultation process to ensure Métis Citizen voices, perspectives and priorities are heard and reflected back to the Federal Government in relation to natural resource development projects.

To get this started, we have set up a page on our engagement platform for folks to learn more about Natural Resource Development project consultation, and they have the opportunity to:

Express interest to attend a region-specific virtual engagement session (on Zoom) to learn more and share their perspective.

There is a $50 honorarium available for each participant

Fill out a survey to share what types of projects are of interest or concern, and how they would like to be consulted.
Opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a tablet.
