Michelle is the founder of SONDR () , a purpose-driven personal care brand on a mission to make
clean, ethical and effective products more accessible.

Built with long-term vision and instigating industry-wide changes in mind from day one, SONDR has been a deliberately passionate pursuit - one that has required navigating manufacturing challenges, scaling complexities, and every other speed bump that comes with building a brand

Born and raised in London, England, Michael’s career in the music industry initially took him to New York 🗽and LA 🏄‍♂️ where he worked for Polygram Records and Warner Music Group overseeing the launch of the ‘Now That’s What I Call Music’ compilation series in North America, before stints running FFRR/London Records and Priority/Capitol Records.

His entrepreneurial spirit saw him launch multiple businesses in the electronic dance music space whilst GM of original electronic dance music agency AM Only, and co-founder of seminal dance music artist management company, Complete Control Management, where he worked closely with artists such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Skrillex, Carl Cox, Duck Sauce, Bingo Players, Phoenix and many others. 😎

A pioneer in dance music marketing he co-founded Thump, the electronic music platform with Vice, and Re-Creation, the first electronic dance music focused brand agency in North America working with brands such as Heineken, Samsung and Adidas, which also incubated the Asian focused music platform 88 Rising, home of stars such as Joji.

These days you will find him living out his dream as an assistant coach at Okanagan FC, helping coach both his son’s soccer teams. ⚽️

Stephanie Horman is the founder of Cabin 5, a Kelowna-based snack company built around outdoor adventure, community connection, and food security. What started as a small-batch granola project has grown into a purpose-driven brand supporting local farmers, artists, and organizations across the Okanagan.

Through Cabin 5, Stephanie has created a business model where every bag sold helps provide meals to youth in need, contributing to a growing mission to donate 100,000 meals back into the community.

Known for her creative storytelling and grassroots marketing approach, Stephanie has built Cabin 5 by focusing on relationships, local partnerships, and building a brand that feels deeply rooted in place.

When she’s not building the brand, you’ll likely find her outdoors with her family exploring the Okanagan.

Sharing what didn’t work — the missed opportunities, the pivots, the doubts — creates something surprisingly powerful: trust. When we open up about the messy middle, we give others permission to do the same. And that’s where real conversations begin.

Failure isn’t a weakness in the room. It’s an invitation.
