Looking for a fun Friday activity for the teens in your life? 🏒

The Kelowna Youth Safety Committee is hosting a First Responders vs. Youth Ball Hockey Event this Friday, May 15 from 5–7 p.m. in the parking lot at Beem Credit Union (185 Rutland Rd. S.).

Youth ages 13–17 are invited to drop in, no registration required, for an evening of ball hockey, free food and drinks, and a chance to meet the Kelowna Rockets.

This free community event is all about bringing local youth and first responders together in a fun, active setting focused on connection, conversation and positive community engagement.

Happening tomorrow 🚨

The 4th Annual First Responders Mental Health Games are taking place Thursday, May 7 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Stuart Park.

The annual event brings together local first responder agencies including Fire Services, RCMP, Bylaw Services and BC Emergency Health Services to promote mental health awareness, well-being and peer connection among frontline responders. 🙌

Now open to the public, the community is encouraged to come out, cheer on their favourite teams and show support for the people who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. 🥳

💧 New water features are coming to Ben Lee Park!

Join us this Saturday, May 2 from 1–3 p.m. to celebrate the official opening 🎉

A ribbon-cutting will kick things off, followed by a Park & Play pop-up with lawn games and inflatables. Be among the first to check out the new interactive features — including splash blasters, a water weaver, tidal wave, activity tower and more.

This City of Kelowna investment brings even more reasons for families to gather, play and stay active right here in Rutland.
