🎉 Less than one week until Kelly Lake Days! 🎉

The countdown is on, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone to another amazing weekend of fun, laughter, and community at our 6th Annual Kelly Lake Days!

We’re excited to introduce two brand-new competitions this year:
🪶 Handgames (Pugeesee) Tournament
🥖 Bannock Competition

We’ve attached the full weekend schedule along with the rules and details for our new competitions, so be sure to check them out and start planning your weekend!

Whether you’re competing, cheering from the sidelines, or just coming out to visit with friends and family, there’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to see familiar faces, welcome new ones, and make more great memories together.

🧹 Volunteers Needed! If you have a little extra time, we’d really appreciate some help with clean-up after the events on Sunday. Many hands make light work, and your support helps make Kelly Lake Days possible. If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d be so grateful!

What a beautiful day spent exploring Quality Falls with an awesome group! After the hike, we grabbed slushies, headed to Flatbed Falls for a swim, and finished the day with burgers, chips, and lots of laughs.

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. It’s always so nice getting outside, making memories, and enjoying time together. We can’t wait for the next adventure! ❤️

🎉 6th Annual Kelly Lake Days is Almost Here! 🎉

The countdown is on! We’re hard at work getting everything ready for another incredible Kelly Lake Days, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back for a weekend filled with laughter, stories, friendly competition, great food, and community.

This year marks our 6th Annual Kelly Lake Days, happening August 1st & 2nd, 2026 at the Kelly Lake Community Center.

We do have one small change this year. While we won't be hosting the baseball tournament, we're excited to introduce Handgames (Pugeesee)! Over the past few months, many community members have been gathering to practice, learn, and strengthen this important tradition. We're proud to see our people bringing culture back into our community, and we can't wait to showcase it during Kelly Lake Days.

Whether you're from Kelly Lake or visiting from another community, everyone is welcome! Come reconnect with old friends, make new memories, enjoy the activities, and celebrate together.

My heart is so full after today’s very first Tiny Tot Indigenous Cultural Program. ❤️

Seeing so many little ones laughing, dancing, painting, singing, and spending time together was exactly what I had hoped this program would be. We had around 30 people join us throughout the afternoon!

A huge thank you to Danielle for making lunch, Lesley Gauthier for leading circle time and songs, Barb Belcourt for sharing a Cree hello song and smudging with us, and Shayne Hommy and Keisha for ending the day with dancing and sharing their knowledge with our little ones.

A special thank you to my brother, Micheal, for helping me collect rocks at moose camp the night before so every child had a rock to paint and take home. It was a small gesture that helped make the day extra special. And my sister Kristen for helping make sure the day ran smoothly.

Thank you to every family who came out and supported this new program. Watching our youngest community members connect with one another and experience our culture together was something really special, and I couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out.

I already can’t wait for the next Tiny Tot program. Hiy hiy, everyone! 🧡

The Tiny Tot Indigenous Cultural Program is coming to Kelly Lake! ❤️

This program is designed for children ages 0–6 and their caregivers to connect our youngest community members through culture, play, and learning.

Join us for:

🪶 Opening smudge
🎶 Cree songs and circle time
💃 Indigenous dance
🎨 Rock painting craft

We look forward to bringing our little ones together in a fun, welcoming environment where they can begin building connections to their community and culture.
