Kaslo Community Services is hiring a Food Recovery Assistant to work at the Kaslo Food Hub. The position is temporary full-time (30 hours per week for 9 weeks, June 22nd to August 21st, 2026 or June 29th to August 28th, 2026 dependant on candidate availability). Wage is $25/hour. This position is funded by the Government of Canada through Canada Summer Jobs and is available for applicants between ages 15-30. Duties include: processing food, packaging food, stocking shelves, working with volunteers, tracking statistics, inventory management, gardening.
