Kaslo Nordic Ski Club (KNSC) is an active ski club based in Kaslo, British Columbia. Formed in 2011, KNSC is currently organizing and delivering programs geared towards cross country skiers of all ages and performance levels. The Club has an annual active membership of approximately 60 members, with a 5-member Executive, and approximately 3 cross-country coaches (all volunteer). The Club's initiat
ives include the development of an area on the south-eastern slopes of mount Buchanan dedicated to cross-country skiing with the intention of eventually hosting major events and races in the Kaslo and Kootenay Lake Valley. KNSC is a member of Cross-Country Canada (CCC) and Cross-Country British Columbia (CCBC)
