Come join us on September 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm to meet our new Intergenerational Trauma Coordinator Frances Whiskeychan. Frances will be hosting a meet and greet for existing clients and community members who are impacted from the effects of Residential Schools.

Day 2 is usually filled with outdoor activities and a camp out, however due to the ongoing rain yesterday , Akwego kids opted to camp out in the Centres’ gymnasium.
The day started out at the lake and ended at the Centre: crafts, food, manhunt in the centre, a movie and ended with a camp out!

Day 1 of Akwego Cultural camp was a great success!
Staff, coordinators and kids had a full day of activities.

Last day of Cultural camp for our Wasa Nabin group today! Last night was camp out night and today we are finishing off with a brunch and closing circle.
Coordinators and staff will be at the lake again today.
