What a day! 🌧️⚽️

A big thank you to Cochrane Minor Soccer Club and Porcupine United Football Club for joining us today and bringing so much energy to the field.

It rained. And rained. And rained some more. But the kids played through it all and had a great time doing it.

Thank you to all the coaches, players, referees, and families who braved the weather and made the day happen.

Soccer really is such a great sport for our youth. Days like today bringing teams together, meeting new people, and putting together the hard work from the season is what it’s all about.

We look forward to welcoming Porcupine United Football Club and Cochrane Minor Soccer Club to some friendly games tomorrow at École catholique Cité des Jeunes - Kapuskasing

Grab an umbrella, come cheer on the players, and enjoy some great soccer as our teams take the field throughout the day!

We’re excited to host our friends from Porcupine and Cochrane and bring our northern soccer communities together ⚽️

If your child played on one of the teams listed below and has not yet returned their jersey, we ask that it be dropped o...

If your child played on one of the teams listed below and has not yet returned their jersey, we ask that it be dropped off at the Donat Brosseau Pool as soon as possible. It can be left with the front desk.

If it’s more convenient, a member of KMSA will also be at the Cité Field on Wednesday, August 12th, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. to collect jerseys.

If your child was unable to attend the finals and their team earned medals, they can also pick them up at the Cité Field during that time.

Returning jerseys helps keep costs down for our association and allows us to make the most of the generous support we receive from our sponsors. By returning your jersey, you’re helping ensure each team set is ready to be used again next season.

We will be going through all jerseys to account for those that have been returned and to identify any that are still outstanding. A member will reach out to make arrangements for the return of the jersey.

As the number of youth soccer players continues to grow each year, so does the need for volunteer coaches. We know coaching isn’t always an easy commitment, and it means giving up evenings and time with your own family.

The Kapuskasing Minor Soccer Association would like to thank every coach who volunteered this spring and summer. Because of you, our players were able to enjoy another great soccer season, learn the game, and make memories that they’ll carry with them well beyond the pitch.

The time you spend planning practices, setting up fields, encouraging players, and being there each week make a real difference. More than that, you’re showing our youth what it means to give back to your community. We hope today’s players will remember that and one day become the next generation of coaches and volunteers.

Thank you for giving your time, your patience, and your energy to KMSA. We couldn’t do it without you.
