We wanted to share an update with our Dog Guides community regarding our plans for our Wilson Street location in Oakville, Ontario.

Previously, we shared that Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would begin transitioning out of our Wilson Street location at the end of September 2026. We’re pleased to let you know that we have been offered an extension, allowing us to remain at the Wilson Street location until December 31, 2026.

This extension means we can bring in two additional classes before we need to move to alternative training operations. Additionally, it provides us with a longer time to plan for our transition and ensure that, when the time comes, we can continue our work with as little disruption as possible.

We will continue to share updates as our plans develop, but we wanted to take the opportunity to keep our community informed now that the extension has been officially confirmed.
