Today, on Blue Jean Jacket Day, we stand in recognition of Indigenous men and boys whose lives have been impacted by violence, exploitation, trafficking, and disappearance.
Observed annually on June 6, Blue Jean Jacket Day was created to raise awareness of the unique challenges faced by Indigenous men and boys, stories that are too often overlooked. It is a day to honour those who are missing, remember those who have been lost, and support families and communities seeking justice, healing, and change.
At FNHPA, we acknowledge the importance of raising awareness, fostering understanding, and standing alongside Indigenous communities in creating a safer future for all.
