The Kanata North Office (Office of Councillor Cathy Curry) will be hosting a Community Safety Information Session with Ottawa Police on Tuesday, February 24, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Minto Room at the Richcraft Centre.

This public meeting will focus on a range of community safety topics and resources available to residents. Police will share information on local safety programs, tools residents can use to stay informed, and guidance on how and when to contact police.

The session will also include general information on fraud prevention and what to do if you are targeted by a scam. The session will also include an explanation of community policing, time to address frequently asked questions, and an opportunity for residents to ask questions directly.

A winter weather parking ban will be in effect starting tomorrow, January 11 from 10 am until 7 pm. When vehicles are removed from our streets, our crews can clear snow efficiently.
