10 years. Hundreds of young lives impacted. One community determined to make a difference. 🧡

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Campout to End Youth Homelessness.

For a decade, our community has come together to shine a light on youth homelessness and help create safer, more stable futures for young people. And while 10 years is a milestone worth recognizing, our work is far from over.

Too many young people still face housing insecurity and barriers to finding a safe place to call home.

This year, we’re asking our community to come together once again and Help Us Close the Gap.

Come join us for Youth Hub today 1-4pm at 560 Tranquille Ave. We can answer questions about all your housing and support needs and you can enjoy some tasty and delicious pizza courtesy of Rocky Hunter and his amazing crew at PIZZA NOW 🍕
We appreciate you Rocky!

🍕❤️ WEDNESDAYS WITH A Way Home Kamloops ❤️🍕

Every Wednesday, pizzas from PIZZA NOW head over to the A Way Home Kamloops Youth Hub to help fuel some pretty amazing young people. 🍕💪❤️

The Youth Hub is about so much more than a meal — it’s a place where youth facing homelessness or difficult circumstances can find support, housing resources, life skills, help with employment and education, and people who genuinely care. 🏠🤝🌟

Sometimes a hot pizza is just a small part of a much bigger picture — a chance to refuel, recharge and know that your community is behind you. 🍕❤️

We’re very proud to play a small part each week and support the incredible work being done by A Way Home Kamloops.

❤️🍕 Community helping community — one pizza at a time. 🍕❤️

What a wonderful day with the Home Depot team at Katherine’s Place! 🧡

We are incredibly grateful for Home Depot’s continued support of A Way Home Kamloops and the young people we serve. Not only did they generously donate these beautiful planters, soil, and plants, but their team also spent the day building and planting them alongside us.

This incredible contribution comes in addition to the support they provide through the Home Depot Canada Foundation Orange Door Project, with funds raised at the Kamloops store helping to support A Way Home Kamloops programs.

A special thank you to Rhonda, Clayton, and Kate, who poured so much time, care, and hard work into bringing these planters to life on a very hot day. Your generosity and dedication mean so much to our team and the youth we support.

Thank you for helping us create a more welcoming and vibrant space for our community! 🌿

Moms Stop The Harm is creating a program for youth by youth, and we want your help! If you are between the ages of 16 - 28 years old, have been impacted by substance use related loss or harm, and are interested in finding ways to support other youth with similar experiences, we want to hear from you!

The MSTH Youth Advisory Team will be made up of a small group of passionate young with lived experience people from across Canada who come together to share experiences, ideas, recommendations, and information. This sharing will work in collaboration with the Youth Co-ordinator to help establish and facilitate a program that truly meets the needs of young people.

The team will meet every 1 to 2 months, with a schedule we will develop together. All members will be compensated for their time.

If this sounds like you, please email Becka at: [email protected] to introduce yourself and set up a time for an informal chat. If you are not sure but just want to know more, please don’t hesitate to reach out at the same email. No prior advisory or work experience is necessary, we are just looking for people who are committed and care about the work!
