👏 Volunteer Appreciation 👏

The BCCHA would like to extend a huge thank you to Penelope Broad Spooner for all of her hard work and support during our NCHA/CCHA Days in Barriere, BC!

Penelope came up early to help with setup and played a huge role in keeping both stalling and RV parking organized throughout the event. Her calm presence, organization, and willingness to jump in wherever needed helped the show get underway smoothly and kept things running seamlessly all weekend long.

On top of all of that, she was also showing — and absolutely kicking ass in the show pen while still helping keep everything together behind the scenes! 👏🥇

From behind-the-scenes planning to helping competitors get settled in, Penelope was truly a driving force in making this event a success.

Thank you, Penelope, for your dedication and hard work. The BCCHA and cutting community appreciate you more than you know!

This year’s Aged Event Aggregate Champions earned a very special award — a commemorative sheet presented in honour of the late Bob Zirnhelt, whose passion, dedication, and unwavering support for the BCCHA and the sport of cutting in Canada left a lasting impact on our community.

👏 Volunteer Appreciation Post 👏

The BCCHA would like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Campbell Garrard for volunteering his time and hard work during our NCHA/CCHA Days in Barriere, BC!

From arena preparation and setup, to putting up portable stalls and helping with countless behind-the-scenes tasks, Campbell was always there to lend an extra hand wherever needed. Events like ours simply would not run as smoothly without dedicated volunteers willing to step up and help make it all happen.

NCHA/CCHA DAYS at the North Thompson Fairgrounds in Barriere, BC was one to remember!

We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who came out to support our show this year. From the riders and families, to the volunteers, sponsors, and spectators — this weekend would not have been possible without our incredible cutting community.

The facility, the cattle, the prizes, the breathtaking scenery, and most importantly the people, all came together to make this weekend so special. The support and sense of community we felt all weekend long is exactly what makes cutting in BC so much fun.

Thank you for helping us celebrate this sport we all love — we’re already looking forward to next year! 🤍
