🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from the BC Cutting Horse Association! 🐴🤎

This Thanksgiving, we’re taking a moment to reflect on all the things we’re grateful for.

We’re thankful for the incredible horses that give us their all, the cattle that make our sport possible, and the friendships and memories made both inside and outside the cutting pen.

To our competitors, trainers, sponsors, volunteers, families, and supporters — thank you for being the heart of our cutting horse community. Your dedication, generosity, and passion are what keep this sport thriving.

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving weekend, we hope you find time to appreciate the little things, celebrate your blessings, and reflect on the people and horses that make life so special.

🏆 THE BUCKLES HAVE ARRIVED! 🏆

The gorgeous buckles from our BCCHA/CCHA Show in May have officially arrived! 🤩

If you were one of our lucky buckle winners, your prize is ready! 🎉

📍 Local pickup: Pick-up can be arranged in Aldergrove, BC. To arrange a time, please contact Tracey at +1 (604) 818-4014.

Out-of-province winners: We’ve got you covered! Some of our board members will be taking buckles with them to Ponoka in September, so we can arrange pickup there.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our winners! 🥳🏆 Your hard work in the arena earned you one of these beauties, and we can’t wait to see them on your trophy wall or on your belt!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our BCCHA/CCHA Show in May. We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again!

👏 Volunteer Appreciation 👏

The BCCHA would like to extend a huge thank you to Penelope Broad Spooner for all of her hard work and support during our NCHA/CCHA Days in Barriere, BC!

Penelope came up early to help with setup and played a huge role in keeping both stalling and RV parking organized throughout the event. Her calm presence, organization, and willingness to jump in wherever needed helped the show get underway smoothly and kept things running seamlessly all weekend long.

On top of all of that, she was also showing — and absolutely kicking ass in the show pen while still helping keep everything together behind the scenes! 👏🥇

From behind-the-scenes planning to helping competitors get settled in, Penelope was truly a driving force in making this event a success.

Thank you, Penelope, for your dedication and hard work. The BCCHA and cutting community appreciate you more than you know!

👏 Volunteer Appreciation Post 👏

The BCCHA would like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Campbell Garrard for volunteering his time and hard work during our NCHA/CCHA Days in Barriere, BC!

From arena preparation and setup, to putting up portable stalls and helping with countless behind-the-scenes tasks, Campbell was always there to lend an extra hand wherever needed. Events like ours simply would not run as smoothly without dedicated volunteers willing to step up and help make it all happen.

Thank you, Campbell, for your time, effort, and support of the BC cutting horse community — we truly appreciate everything you did to help make the show a success! 👏🐴
