We're excited to launch Painted Pathways, a community art initiative made possible through the City of Kamloops Community Art Grant.
Working alongside Indigenous artist Shay Paul, we'll be transforming our community hall with four large-scale murals that celebrate the values at the heart of the CFC: food access, food skills, gardening, and advocacy.
The murals will tell a shared story of strength, resilience, connection, and community through vibrant, collaborative artwork - and you can help create them.
Community Mural Painting Sessions:
📅 July 8 | 2-6 pm
📅 July 17 | 1-5 pm
📅 July 29 | 9-1 pm
📅 August 7 | 1-5 pm
No artistic experience is needed - just bring your enthusiasm and creativity. Each session is open to the public and offers a chance to connect with others, express yourself, and learn more about food security in our community.
