Formed in 2002, the TRUSU Chinese Students & Scholars Association is a registered Thomspon Rivers University Students Union club and a recognized student organization by the consulate general of the People’s Republic of China education sector in Vancouver. Our association provides students, faculties and broader communities with cultural entertainment and educational events. Our organization also

This grand event will take place on February 9th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the KIA Lounge in Sandman Center. VIP Tickets: 70 CAD (Early Bird Price: 60 CAD if purchased before January 24th)

Throughout May, we honour and celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian Canadians. This month is an opportunity to recognize the immense impact Asian communities have had on shaping the vibrant tapestry of Canadian society.

Today, we want to shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of the Chinese community to Canada. From the early Chinese immigrants who played pivotal roles in building the Canadian Pacific Railway to the entrepreneurs, artists, scientists, and community leaders of today, their contributions are deeply woven into the fabric of our nation.
