Our mandate is 'To Increase awareness and build a culture of Career Mentorship for our Graduates within Canada'. The AIM Foundation provides Youth-Mentor experience directed towards Career Choice for Grade 12 Graduates, Trades and University Sudents/Graduates. This is done through our Certified Career Mentors at your Local Chapter of AIMCanada. that are recommended and recruited within the local c

ommunity. Chapters are located near a university as the majority of our AIMCanada Community (Employees, Mentors and Volunteers) are selected from within that United Way Charity Region. AIMCanada TNC Mentorship Society is the non profit for Thompson Nicola Cariboo Charity Region.

We'd like to extend our deepest gratitude to Susan Grossman, Brenda Eaton, Mary Ackenhusen, and Aftab Erfan for their many years of leadership and service on our Board.

As Board Chair for the past two years, Susan's leadership was pivotal in advancing our purpose work and guiding us through meaningful growth and reflection. For six years, she also contributed across multiple committees, including Governance & People and Grants & Community Initiatives, as well as chairing the Program & Impact committee.

With nearly a decade of service, Brenda has supported our work in countless ways, serving on most committees and chairing both the Grants & Community Initiatives and Investment & Stewardship committees. As a strong supporter of PurposePhil, Brenda played a key role in helping us articulate our moral purpose and find greater alignment between our assets and our vision.

Mary served three years on the Board, chairing the Program & Impact committee and contributing to many others. Throughout her tenure, she consistently challenged us to strengthen our understanding of the impact of our work.

During her three years on the Board, Aftab brought a thoughtful and insightful perspective through her work on the Program & Impact and Governance & People committees. She encouraged her fellow members to more deeply integrate JEDI into their work and strengthened conversations across a wide range of topics.

Susan, Brenda, Mary, and Aftab, we can't thank you enough for your dedication, leadership, and lasting impact on Vancouver Foundation. We wish you all the best as you continue to do incredible work in our communities!

AIMCanada addresses a critical gap between education and employment. Many students and graduates have the knowledge, but not always the experience or network to move forward. Through mentorship programs, AIMCanada helps bridge that gap.

Volunteers are the heart of AIMCanada. From mentors and board members to student volunteers, their contributions make every program possible. Their willingness to share skills and experience helps build confidence, open doors, and create opportunities that may not otherwise exist.

This year they will be at our 5th Annual Volunteer Fair at Aberdeen Mall. March 28 from 10:00-2:00. Located beside Marshall.

Come on out and learn more about this amazing Non profit and how you can join in to help volunteer. Also win a stamp on your lucky card for some amazing prizes we have.

Thank you to AIM Canada Mentorship Society shaping the future of the entire community.
