BIG NEWS, Kamloops. We're moving, and we want YOU to help design where we land.
Introducing Design the Standard: a community design challenge for our brand new home at 320 Tranquille Rd.
Here's the deal. We're handing the creative reins to Kamloops. Designers, students, design curious humans, big idea people... if you've got vision, we want to see it. No fancy portfolio required. Just bring your point of view.
The prize package is INCREDIBLE:

A $1,000 cash prize.

12 months of free coworking membership.

Public recognition and portfolio promotion.

A spot at our launch event.

The chance to shape the actual look and feel of the new Standard.

Standard Office Space is moving into our new home at Innova in early 2027, and we’re inviting the community to help shape what that space will feel like.

Design the Standard is an open design challenge for designers, students, creatives, and anyone with a strong eye and a great idea for the future of coworking in Kamloops.

Prize includes:
$1,000 cash
12 months of coworking
Public recognition
A chance for your concept to influence the look, feel, and final design decisions for the new Standard Office Space location

This couch holds a lot of memories. Our dog friends have taken some solid naps here, there have been photo shoots with this glorious piece of furniture and many successful members of the Standard Office Space community have walked past this couch every single day.
It's holding the energy of extreme coolness.
But alas our space needs to expand with more desks so we must pass on this cherished artifact to someone new.

Disclaimer: New owner may experience new friendships, rapid personal growth and a total glow up.

Standard Office Space is growing, and we’re looking for the right people to help shape what comes next.
We’re currently recruiting new board members for the Standard Office Space Society, including Directors at Large, a Treasurer, and a Vice President.
Standard Office Space is home to business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, and community-minded professionals who believe work gets better when people have access to connection, collaboration, mentorship, referrals, and a place where good ideas can move forward.
This board role is an opportunity to help strengthen the business community in Kamloops.
Serving on the board gives you the chance to help guide the future of Standard Office Space, support local entrepreneurs and small business owners, bring your professional knowledge into a community that values it, build relationships with other business-minded leaders, and take part in work that has a direct impact on the people building businesses in our city.
Standard is a place where people find support, make connections, share ideas, learn from each other, and feel less alone while building something of their own.
