Standard Office Space is growing, and we’re looking for the right people to help shape what comes next.
We’re currently recruiting new board members for the Standard Office Space Society, including Directors at Large, a Treasurer, and a Vice President.
Standard Office Space is home to business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, and community-minded professionals who believe work gets better when people have access to connection, collaboration, mentorship, referrals, and a place where good ideas can move forward.
This board role is an opportunity to help strengthen the business community in Kamloops.
Serving on the board gives you the chance to help guide the future of Standard Office Space, support local entrepreneurs and small business owners, bring your professional knowledge into a community that values it, build relationships with other business-minded leaders, and take part in work that has a direct impact on the people building businesses in our city.
Standard is a place where people find support, make connections, share ideas, learn from each other, and feel less alone while building something of their own.
Now we’re looking for people who want to help carry that work forward.

We’ve been hearing from a few people that they didn’t know about The Standard Mastermind, so consider this your official invite.
If you’re a local business owner, service provider, freelancer, creative, consultant, coach, contractor, or person-with-an-idea who could use thoughtful conversation around what you’re building, this is for you.

The Standard Mastermind is happening Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 at Standard Office Space.
And yes, there will be snacks. Obviously.
The format is simple, structured, and very useful.
You bring a business question, challenge, idea, decision, or sticky little “I don’t know what to do with this” situation you’re working through. Then you get to hear from other people who are also building, growing, figuring things out, and seeing things from a perspective you may not have considered yet.

It’s a guided conversation designed to help you move your business forward, meet good people, and leave with something you can take action on to move your business forward.
