We have listened! We heard your concerns regarding the price of the upcoming dance. It certainly is tricky to try to cover costs at events when we bring in live music. Times have changed over the years and it is difficult to find quality live music at a price that allows for a low admission entry. It’s impossible. We are hoping that we have the attendance numbers needed to break even or to just lose a little . Sometimes we make a little, sometimes we lose a little and all we hope is that we balance out over time.
Please remember you cannot compare apples to oranges. Going to a community party with someone’s playlist in the background is not the same as having a live music event with a band. Different events and people who are interested. Both have their place and time. We do have a variety of activities and events over the course of the year and we do try to listen the community and accommodate when we can.

Apple pressing day…Start the car!!!!!

Only one more day ….Pick those apples in your back yard and plan to come learn and use the apple press. If you would like to enter the apple dessert contest then pull out Grandma’s favourite recipe and something for the potluck lunch. Or bring
Your $5 for fish on a bun or fish taco on a tortilla or a bowl of fish chowder - while supply lasts.
Importantly - please plan to stay for the Annual General Meeting at 1:00. This is your chance to give feedback, discuss what’s happening at the hall and please consider becoming a board member or adding your name to the Volunteer List . What a great community Saturday !
