September 1 is World Beach Day! Although our official name is, "Joggins Fossil Cliffs UNESCO World Heritage Site," the site not only has the beautiful sea cliffs that hold countless Carboniferous fossils - there's also the beach! Almost every rock on the beach at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs holds a fossil - making this beach pretty special!

This is the last weekend of the season for the Roundhouse Cafe! If you haven't already, we recommend that you stop by and enjoy a warm drink and a sweet treat prepared by our amazing kitchen staff. Although the cafe will be closing this week, the Joggins Fossil Centre will remain open until October 18th daily* from 10 am to 5 pm.

August 26 is International Dog Day so we're taking a moment to celebrate the dogs of the Joggins Fossil Cliffs! Our furry friends bring us much joy and companionship throughout our lives - we hope you'll give your dog an extra treat from us today!

Dogs are welcome on the grounds, beach, and on beach tours - provided they are well behaved and on leash, and service dogs are additionally welcome in the Joggins Fossil Centre.

Just a reminder to watch out for potential rock falls while exploring the Joggins Fossil Cliffs UNESCO World Heritage Site. Erosion is a natural process that occurs every day on the cliffs, and while it could reveal exciting discoveries, it can also be dangerous.
