Community members are invited to visit the Red Dress installation along the 600 block of Patricia Street โ a powerful, community-led display that honours the lives lost and raises awareness of the ongoing call for justice.
The installation will be opened on May 5 at 9:00 AM with a Drum and Song led by local knowledge keeper Matricia Bauer at the corner of Hazel Avenue and Patricia Street. All are welcome to attend.
In Jasper, located along Highway 16, part of what is known as the Highway of Tears โ this day holds particular significance. It is an opportunity to reflect, to listen, and to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities.
We encourage residents and visitors to take time on May 5 to learn, reflect, and honour the lives and families impacted. ๐งก
