YWCA Agvik Nunavut The Baffin Regional Agvik Society was established in 1986 to provide shelter for women & children.

We are a non-profit organization that runs shelters and programs in Iqaluit, Nunavut for women and children. Qimaavik Emergency Shelter ᕿᒫᕕᐅᑉ ᐅᖄᓚᐅᑎᖓ provides 24-hour emergency shelter and crisis intervention to women and children fleeing violence. Sivummut House ᓯᕗᒧᑦ ᐃᓗᖁᑎᖓᑦᑕ ᐅᖃᓚᐅᑎᖓ began offering support and services to women and their children experiencing homelessness in 2011.
