Inuvik Youth Centre A safe, supportive, and culturally grounded environment where children and youth can learn, create, and connect.

Our aim is to help youth gain the confidence, skills and awareness necessary to effectively address the social challenges they are facing. We encourage them to become active, contributing members of the community, by providing a drop-in space and programmed events which supply them with the opportunities and support necessary to develop and realize their individual strengths and capacities.

We are saying goodbye to some of our team members moving for school and moving on to cool new opportunties!

Are you interested in gaining work experience working with ages 5-18 years old?

Are you looking for a flexible working environment in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends?

The Inuvik Youth Centre is looking for new team members to support our after-school program, youth drop-in programs, and special projects in collaboration with the Western Arctic Youth Collective 🫶🏼

As our summer program comes to an end, we are prepping for our after-school program🍂

This is a free program for the community for ages 5-10 years old and will run from September 8th to December 18th.

Parents/Guardians can apply in-person as of 1pm on Tuesday, September 1st, or apply online! See online form details below.

Once we receive the completed application/online form, we will respond with an email if we are able to confirm your child(ren) for the program as of Friday, September 4th.

This online form will be accessible to the public to complete as of Tuesday, September 1st, and closed once spots are filled.
