The Friends of the Museum are proud to announce in partnerships with Luna Community College, San Miguel County and Los Hermanos de la Morada de Los Enmascarados Gorras Blancas a unique historical, cultural, political and religious exhibit called "Faith & Resilience" at Luna Media Arts Department. Come see this once in a lifetime display of Santos, artifacts and paintings that begin a 19th century northern New Mexico story of brotherhood of faith and devotion to religion and of the resilience of a community United by faith, language, culture and land. The exhibit will be on display until December. Just look for the colorful statues in front of the Media Arts Building. Room 134 Open Thursday-Friday 10am -4:30pm & Saturday 10am -3pm.

Thank you to everyone who attended our grand opening of this exhibit. It truly meant alot to us to share this important part of Las Vegas History. Thank you to Luna Community College for hosting this unique exhibit. Thank you to San Miguel County for providing financial support to this unique story of Las Vegas History. Thank you to the Hermanos for allowing us to show these one of a kind artifacts. Thank you to Cabrini Martinez and Julianna Olguin for your hard work and perseverance to see this important exhibition to completion. We hope the community will come to Luna and see this exhibit.
The exhibit hours are
Thursday & Friday - 10am - 4pm
Saturdays -10am -3pm.
Exhibit will be on display until December.

With the participation of local community members, San Miguel County, Luna Community College & the Friends, we invite everyone to come see this unique & interesting piece of Las Vegas History.

Last week, we went to the County Commission meeting to ask for some help on a few projects. We are working on bringing a rodeo this summer! Proud to say that the county commissioner agreed with our projects and agreed to help us out financially and partners! Stay tuned for more details!
