We Are "Friends Feeding Families". Over 1000 families need help with Christmas dinner. Thank you! Food shortage in your community is real.

The Bay Food Crew was formed when 4 individual businesses wanted to do something to help feed families for Christmas. After several informal conversations between these businesses the idea of a collaboration between them all, could do more good than as individuals. The need was greater than we anticipated. We are feeding families from Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Baysville, Burks Falls and Huntsville. The true heroes in all this are the people that run and volunteer for the organizations we are helping. Manna Food Bank Bracebridge, Table Food Bank Huntsville, Burk's Falls & District Food Bank, Baysville Winter Food Pantry, Dwight Winter Pantry and Salvation Army in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville. With these organizations and their people our community is a better place to live. Our message to other businesses and individuals is clear. During the holiday season the shelves get re-stocked but after the holidays momentum drops and the struggle to feed those in need continues. Cash donations really help because the buying power of these organizations is greater than ours as individuals, meaning they can buy more food for a dollar than you can. We would like to thank all the volunteers at our local food banks who help people in our community who need a little assistance over the holiday season & throughout the year.

For our 9th year we delivered 270 complete Christmas dinners with all the trimmings valued at $10,000. Winter Pantry - Baysville & Dorset, Burk's Falls and District Food Bank and Corner Lighthouse, we appreciate all you do!!

Wow what a fantastic Saturday morning. The Bay Food Crew was in full flight delivering 140 complete Christmas dinners to the Corner Lighthouse food bank in Huntsville. So many volunteers working together to create Christmas hampers for people in our town that need a little help over the course of the holiday season.

It's heartwarming and gratifying to be able to play a role in helping our local food banks meet the needs of community members who find themselves needing assistance. It could be your friend(s), neighbours or even family member(s) that needs the support of a food bank. Please support them if you are able. We thank you in advance!

Yesterday morning we had the pleasure of delivering 105 complete Christmas dinners with everything a family would need for a holiday feast to our friends at Burk's Falls and District Food Bank. Many hard working volunteers were on hand to assist in putting Christmas hampers together for local families who need a leg up.

So far we have delivered 130 Christmas dinners with more to come this week. Keep in mind your local food banks service people in your community all year long. If you are able to donate in anyway please do so. Thank you in advance!

Yesterday was a little chilly for our first delivery of the holiday season. It's always a pleasure working with the fine people at the Winter Pantry - Baysville & Dorset. Working together 25 families will enjoy a complete turkey dinner with all the fixings for the holidays. It's our 9th year delivering turkey dinners to local food banks in our region. In the coming days there are many more to come.......Thank you to all the volunteers who are working to help fight food insecurity!
