Today we are celebrating our Peer Support Team and the incredible work they do to support youth in Humboldt.
What makes peer support different?
Peer support is grounded in shared lived and living experience. Peer supporters walk alongside people with empathy, mutual understanding and hope. It isn't about "fixing" someone. It's about creating relationships grounded in trust, empowerment, and shared humanity, while supporting people to define their own path forward.
That's the power of peer support. And it belongs here.

We have Mental Health and Addictions support daily, a variety of Drop-in Programming, and the launch of Pathways to Connection on October 14th at Humboldt Campground where we will learn about the practical and spiritual significance of fire in Indigenous Cultures.
