⚠️ Please be aware

We are hearing reports again of people going door-to-door promoting solar from the MOPC.

The Municipality of Pictou County has a program that finances energy-efficiency upgrades, including solar, but we DO NOT solicit door-to-door.

More information about our program can be found online at https://switchpace.org/homeowners/mopc/. Contractors for this program are vetted through a formal process.

If you have any concerns, please contact SwitchMOPC at 902-601-1797.

Before signing an agreement with any contractor, residents are encouraged to get references and quotes from at least two other contractors.

It was the last thing we wanted to do, but with all the rain and the damage that was done to our park grounds we had to put the chain back up until we can assess everything.

The park is still open for use, please please still come and enjoy it! Just be mindful when you’re parking up top to keep to the sides and don’t block the whole driveway.

We truly appreciate everyone who respectfully uses our park ♥️

😔 Well, as much as we love to see people express their artistic abilities, we would love it if you -didn’t- do it in our park.

We’ve had minimal issues for years, but I suppose our good luck ran out.

PLEASE respect our park, our volunteers work so hard all year to make sure the grounds stay beautiful for all to enjoy.

We’ve had lots of rain so everything is soft! Please make sure to stay on the driveway when entering and leaving.
