As a community we set a record turn out at the Civic Center, maxing out the fire saftey capactiy of the building. If you are registered to speak on October 21, keep the following in mind when preparing your statements:

1. Be Concise - You will have 5 minutes or less to speak
2. Be Respectful - Avoid personal attacks or inappropriate language
3. Stay on Topic - Focus your comments on the 31 Sand Rd development application
4. Don't Ask Questions - This is not a time to ask questions about developers intentions, application process or council's actions. This is the time to clearly state your position and reasoning.
5. Prepare in Advance - Think about the points you want to get across and write them down ahead of time. It's even ok to read directly from your notes at the meeting.
