Who We Are...

We often think of crime or tragedy as something that happens to other people. The aftermath of a crime, natural disaster, accident, sudden death or emergency can be chaotic and overwhelming for the individuals involved.

Hinton Victim Support Services advocates provide services upon the request of an RCMP member, community agency or upon contact by a victim and are available by phone or in person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our police-based VSU operates with a full-time Executive Director, part-time Program Coordinator, part-time Court Support Worker and is governed by dedicated volunteers that form the Board of Directors.
