The 2638 Hinton RCACC is a no-cost youth program for ages 12 to 18 focused on leadership, citizenship, and personal development through training, teamwork, and community involvement.

What an incredible weekend!

A huge thank you to Mr. Curtis at Indian Trail Adventures for welcoming our cadets and families and giving us the opportunity to help with his property clean-up. While the work was hard, we had an amazing time enjoying nature, spending time with the horses, sharing stories, and building teamwork together.

We are also incredibly grateful for his generous donation to our Cadets Support Committee. Contributions like this help us continue providing meaningful opportunities, experiences, and activities for our cadets.

A special thank you to our dear CI Moberly and family for allowing us to camp on their property and for hosting dinner and breakfast. We felt so welcomed and truly enjoyed our time with you.

Thank you as well to Mr. Pat McIntyre and the team at Country Pump Out Portable Toilet Service in Grande Cache for generously donating their services for the weekend, helping make our stay more comfortable.

And finally, a huge thank you to the parents who rolled up their sleeves and helped throughout the weekend. Your support, hard work, and willingness to get involved made a tremendous difference and helped make this experience a success for everyone.

We are so fortunate to be surrounded by such a supportive community. Thank you all ❤️

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Paul Lovsin and the amazing team at Freson Bros. Hinton Hill location for the incredible support they gave us by sponsoring our Cadets Support Committee BBQ Fundraiser this past Saturday. Your generosity and kindness truly made a difference!

We also want to thank our wonderful community for coming out and supporting us that day. Every purchase, donation, share, and encouraging word helps us continue providing valuable opportunities, experiences, leadership, and lifelong memories for our youth.

Thank you for believing in our program and in our cadets, we truly couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

This past long weekend, our cadets had the opportunity to travel to Grande Cache for the FTX hosted by Grande Prairie Corps. It was an amazing weekend filled with learning, teamwork, new experiences, and lots of fun!

Despite the weather, rain, hail, and even snow, the strong bond and camaraderie between both cadet corps made the weekend truly unforgettable.

A huge thank you to our friends from Grande Prairie Army Cadets and their Support Committee for all the hospitality, kindness, and support throughout the weekend. We truly appreciate everything you did for our cadets!

Last Wednesday, we celebrated our CO’s Parade, and it was an evening filled with achievements, recognition, and memorable milestones.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate several well-deserved promotions within our Corps:

⭐ Two of our newest cadets received their very first Green Star
⭐ One cadet earned their Gold Star
⭐ Two cadets were promoted to Sergeant
⭐ We recognized our Top Cadet of the Month
⭐ And with great pride and excitement, for the very first time in the history of our Corps, we now have a Master Warrant Officer!

Congratulations to all of our cadets on their well-earned promotions and accomplishments. Your dedication, hard work, perseverance, and commitment continue to shine and inspire everyone around you. Keep up the outstanding work, your efforts are truly paying off!

We are so proud of each and every one of our cadets.

Ever wondered what a “Day X” is for cadets? 🌲🔥

It’s a hands-on outdoor training exercise where cadets practice survival and field skills like shelter building, fire-making, navigation, and teamwork.

Day X helps build confidence, leadership, and resilience in real-life situations—while having fun at the same time!
