Friends of Community Schools Supporting Children's Entitlements. BE A FRIEND! The year 2014 marks the 18th anniversary of Friends of Community Schools.

Since 1996, we have contributed over $700,000 to school- and community-based programs supporting nutrition, arts, and technology through fundraising, private donations, and grants. We have supported such programs as Camp G.T.A., the original Camp All Connected, the Triangle Program, Alexandra Park Community Centre, Find Your Voice, Umugenzi, Contact Alternative School, and many other worthwhile pr

ojects. In 2003, FOCS established the Triangle Program Scholarship for graduating students who have benefited from the Triangle Program and wish to pursue post-secondary endeavours.

To all of our supporters in Prince Edward County: we are sorry to announce that Camp Be A Friend will not be happening this summer. We apologize to all the children and youth that will miss the opportunity to attend summer camp, and the students who were looking forward to summer employment.
