✨ MEMBER PROFILE MONDAY ✨
Meet Shirley Crawford ❤️
Shirley is a retired teacher, office administrator, and principal who spent 32 years working within several Alberta school divisions—including the Foothills School Division, where she retired as principal of École Joe Clark School in High River in 2004.
Throughout her career, Shirley worked with students from Grades 2–11, many of whom faced learning challenges. She also taught ESL students, served as a Reading Consultant, worked as a program specialist, and held leadership roles in schools throughout Alberta.
A proud mother, stepmother, and grandmother of 13, Shirley now spends her retirement travelling, cruising the world, and enjoying time with her family. ✨
Shirley has been a member of 100 Women Who Care Foothills for 8 years and says she joined because she wanted her donations to create the greatest possible impact close to home. She has also been involved with Solace Grief Support Society since its inception in 2017 and currently serves as Past President.
Fun fact? Many people are surprised to learn Shirley holds an Educational Doctorate—and that she still line dances at least twice a week! 💃
Thank you, Shirley, for your years of leadership, community involvement, and dedication to supporting local causes in the Foothills. 💛
