Today was an interesting day in Calgary. A local business spotted our traveling billboard and wanted to donate to Wild Rose Community Connexx silent auction on July 25th during the High River Stampede Breakfast. I graciously accepted on behalf of Wild Rose Community Connections. If you or your business would like to contribute to this wonderful cause please reach of to Marianne Dickson from Wild Rose.

Every donation to the auction helps the vulnerable and many others.

Today we're shining a light on another incredible High River Stampede Breakfast volunteer!

Milton Sundset has been a dedicated volunteer with the High River Stampede Breakfast since its inception three years ago. This year, Milt is stepping into an even bigger role as our Pancake Breakfast Leader, helping guide the team that makes this community event such a success.

Milt's commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve are a true reflection of the spirit that makes our community so special.

Volunteers like Milt are the heart of the High River Stampede Breakfast, and we are grateful for the countless hours he dedicates to ensuring everyone enjoys "The Greatest Outdoor Western Show" in High River.

Thank you, Milt, for everything you do for our community and for the High River Stampede Breakfast. We couldn't do it without you!

Please vote on which one you like more….keep in mind I am wanting to communicate…community roots, something timeless (name that will stand the test of time). This name should also have a bit of geography to it so that it encompasses our region not just our town (although I love our town).

A big thank you to the very quiet volunteering by the High River Kinsmen and Garth Brookwell for all of your efforts with this event. From the professional AHS kitchen to the 25 feet of grill space at the High River Stampede Breakfast. You can't miss them at this years breakfast as they are the fellows in red cooking up all those 6000 pancakes and 6000 sausages!
