The wait is almost over — 187 Foothills is getting ready to take flight again in just over a month! 🎉
We're looking forward to another fantastic training year and can't wait to welcome everyone back.
Check over your uniforms and make sure you have every piece.

Event: Open Cockpit Day - Nanton Bomber Command Museum
Saturday June 20th. Parent drop-off and pick-up. Arrive at 10:00 am. Depart at 2:30
Dress: Summer Dress (Ironed collar shirt with rank slip-ons, wedge, pants, boots)
Eat breakfast before arriving! Some food (burgers) will be available but bring a snack if you prefer.
They will be doing two bomber engine runs at 11 and 2. You will be assisting museum staff with exhibits. This is a non-mandatory event.

Hello 187! What a wonderful weekend for an ACR! Thank you all for a memorable ACR on Saturday. Now, we look forward to our year end potluck tomorrow!

Date: Tuesday, 16th June
Activity: Year End Potluck for 187 Cadets and families.
Timings: 1830hrs to 2000hrs
Dress: Civies

We will enjoy a fun evening together to enjoy a potluck meal and celebrate a great training year!

*Note the earlier-than-usual end time

Bring your water guns and towels as we will enjoy our annual water gun fight after we eat! (Provided there is no lightning!)

187, we are in the home stretch of our Training Year!

UPCOMING THIS WEEK:

Date: Tuesday, 9th June
Activity: Final COs Parade night / ACR Run-Through
Timings: 1830 to 2130 hrs
Dress: C1s

*This is our last CO’s parade night of the year. We will be performing some of the parts of the year end ACR on this evening, so all parents are encouraged to attend.
*Cadets, please arrive NLT 1815.

Date: Saturday, 13th June
Activity: Annual Ceremonial Review
Location: Highwood High School, High River, AB
Timings:
9:30 AM - Cadets and staff arrive at Highwood High School
10:00 AM – Start set-up and preparation and rehearsal
12 Noon – eat lunch and get changed
1:00 PM – guests arrive
1:15 PM – Form Up
1:30 PM – ACR begins
2:30 PM – ACR wraps up/Cake and refreshments
3:00 PM – Clean up

Dress: Cadets should arrive in comfortable civies and bring their C1s with medals
Meals: Eat breakfast before coming, bring a packed lunch
Transportation: Parental to and from venue
