Due to weather, this event is cancelled! We hope to host it in 2027!

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Innovations in the Field event scheduled for Wednesday, June 10.

We were looking forward to connecting with you, sharing ideas and learning together. Thank you to everyone who showed interest in the event.

While we're disappointed not to gather this year, we're already looking ahead and hope to bring Innovations in the Field back in June 2027. We look forward to seeing you then.

This past weekend FFGA staff Sonja and Lori-Anne attended Aggie Days in Mountain View County, Alberta

They welcomed approximately 570 students from local schools on Friday, followed by more than 300 additional visitors from the public on Saturday.

On Friday, the team engaged students with an interactive grazing game designed to teach the basics of pasture management. For Saturday’s public event, they switched gears and presented a static demonstration comparing continuous grazing and rotational grazing systems, using Central Alberta Forage and Livestock Association imitation cow manure to help showcase the impact of different grazing practices in a fun and visual way.
