We are a key provider of affordable seniors lodge and independent living within Foothills County, and the sole operator of the rent supplement program for those living in Foothills County and surrounding area.

What a fantastic time we had at the Westwinds Communities Seniors Week BBQ!

This year’s event brought the Wild West to life with outlaws, a thrilling train robbery, and amazing live local entertainment by Chase Morgan. The energy, laughter, and community spirit made it a truly unforgettable day for everyone who joined us.

Thank you to all who came out to celebrate our incredible seniors, we’re already looking forward to next year!

The excitement is building at Kennedy Terrace at D’Arcy in Okotoks.
We’re just 27 days, 22 hours, and 30 minutes away from welcoming residents into their new homes.

From June 1 to 7, Alberta celebrates the 40th anniversary of Seniors’ Week. This annual declaration provides an opportunity to recognize the profound impact seniors have on our local communities.

In observation of this week, municipal teams and local seniors' organizations in Okotoks, High River, and Diamond Valley have coordinated a series of public events, educational workshops, and social gatherings.

We encourage community members to review the complete, detailed schedules and registration requirements on the official municipal event calendars for the Towns of Okotoks, High River, and Diamond Valley.

We are absolutely thrilled to share the final results of our Drive-By Pie event! 🥧 From Sandstone Lodge to Medicine Tree Manor and High Country Lodge, your overwhelming generosity has been truly inspiring.

Every pie purchased directly enhances the lives of our residents, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible neighbors, staff, and volunteers. Thank you for making this fundraiser a sweet success!

Residents at Medicine Tree Manor enjoyed making "All About Me" flowers with their friends from Spitzee Elementary School grade 1 classes. We love these monthly intergenerational get togethers to build relationships with our Grandfriends!

Sharing the love (and the pie!) with High River’s finest. 🥧🚒👮‍♂️

Yesterday, a group of our residents decided to spread some joy and appreciation around town. Armed with the same delicious, homemade pie recipe used for our recent fundraiser, they made special deliveries to the High River Fire Department and Police Department. We wanted to show these incredible first responders just how much we appreciate their bravery, constant dedication, and the peace of mind they give our community every single day.

We also attempted to make a delivery to our local EMS crew, but we're happy to report that the station was completely quiet! They were all actively deployed at dispatch in Calgary keeping people safe.

Thank you to all of our emergency services personnel for your service—and for always greeting us with such big smiles!
