At Westwinds, we care. We care about our people, our properties and the communities we call home.

Westwinds is the largest provider of subsidized and affordable rental housing for families and individuals living within Foothills County. We are a key provider of affordable seniors lodge and independent living within Foothills County, and the sole operator of the rent supplement program for those living in Foothills County and surrounding area.

❤️🐶 There’s something truly magical about puppy cuddles!

These precious moments brought so many smiles, laughter, and warmth. Watching the gentle connection between these lovely residents and the adorable puppies is a beautiful reminder of how the simplest things in life can bring us the greatest happiness. 🥰🐾

A little wagging tail, a soft cuddle, and a sweet puppy face are sometimes all it takes to brighten someone's day. ❤️

Thank you to these adorable little visitors for filling the room with so much love and joy! We’ll be smiling about these special moments for a long time. 🐶💕

🎄✨ **LOCAL VENDORS WANTED!** ✨🎄

We’re excited to be hosting a **Christmas Market** at High Country Lodge and we’re looking for local makers, creators and small businesses to join us!

📅 **Saturday, November 28, 2026**
⏰ **10:00 AM – 3:00 PM**
📍 **High Country Lodge**

🎁 **NO TABLE FEE!**
We will provide you with a **6-foot table at no charge**. Please bring your own table covering.

Instead of a vendor fee, we ask each vendor to donate **one item from their business or something they have created** to be used in our **Resident Christmas Raffle**. Your donation will help us add some extra Christmas fun for our residents! ❤️

**A few details:**
• Tables are limited and will be offered on a **first-come, first-served basis**.
• We will do our best to **avoid duplicating products**, so please tell us what you sell when you register.
• Vendors are responsible for their own sales, payment methods, displays and applicable permits/licensing.
• This is a community Christmas Market and we’re looking for a variety of unique products and gifts.

Great to see Westwinds Communities represented at the ASCHA Regional Zone Meeting!

Marcia Reid, Director, Don Herring, Chair, and CEO Lauren Ingalls recently spent time connecting with sector leaders for valuable presentations from the Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services and Assisted Living Alberta.

It’s encouraging to see the Province taking bold steps to respond to the growing demand for care, services, and housing across our sector. Collaboration, innovation, and strong leadership will be essential as we plan for the future of our communities.
