We’re excited to welcome RE/MAX – The Melissa Francis Team to our Kids Zone! 🎈✨ They’ll be bringing lots of family-friendly fun, including balloons 🎈, bubbles 🫧, temporary tattoos 🎨, and plenty of exciting activities to keep little ones smiling and entertained while you explore the market.

While the kids enjoy all the fun, you can browse our amazing local vendors 🥕🍓, discover unique products 🛍️, and connect with friends and neighbours 🤝💛.

For our live entertainment this week we will have The Flying Dutchmen! They will be performing from 5:15 to 6:15 this Friday June 5th at the Hespeler village market.
I asked them to tell us a little more about themselves and this is what they wanted to share
“We just like playing our music and entertaining people in different places, venues and locations.
It is always very rewarding when we get a good interaction and response from our audiences.”
We can’t wait to see them perform to start out this years market!

Word of the Week: GATHER 🌿

At our farmers market, the word gather is at the heart of everything we do.

It’s about more than just coming to shop — it’s about people coming together in a shared space to connect, support one another, and celebrate all that our local community has to offer.

We gather to meet the farmers who grow our food, the makers who create with care, and the neighbours who make this community feel like home. We gather to share conversations, discover new favourites, and enjoy the simple joy of being together outdoors.

And this week, we’re making it even more special…

We’re excited to introduce two very special members of our market family — our mascots, Shellbee and Bixbee 🐝💛

These friendly bees will be joining us at the market to help spread joy, smiles, and a little extra buzz throughout the day. Just like bees in nature, they remind us how important it is to work together, support growth, and keep our community thriving.

Shellbee and Bixbee are all about connection, kindness, and celebrating the small moments that bring us together — whether that’s a wave, a hello, or a shared laugh at the market.

So this week, we invite you to come out, explore, and truly gather with us.

Say hello to Shellbee and Bixbee, visit your favourite vendors, try something new, and be part of the energy that makes our farmers market so special.

Shelbee and Bixbee dropped by the toy drive today for a delicous Grind House coffee and to pick up their coupons. Shelbee lost one of her fake eyelashes in the wind. Stayed tuned for more exciting adventures with our new HVM mascotes as they make their video premier soon ? Thank you to everyone who braved the rain and wind today to donate. We will be accepting donations of toys all season! See you at our opening on June 5 th!

Hey Hespeler!

We are hosting a toy drive tomorrow (Saturday May 23rd) to try and get some new toys for our kids zone. We are looking for any toys that your kids have grown out of or don’t use anymore.

This will also be a chance to come and meet our market manager and learn more about our market. We will also have treats and coffee for anyone who attends. At the toy drive we will have some sign up sheets for volunteers, sponsors, and vendors.

We are excited to see the turn out for this event and we hope this event can get more of the community involved in the market.

We are partnering with the grind house to bring you free coffee at the toy drive!

The grind house is a great spot to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. Their cozy coffee shop is perfect to sit and read your favourite book with a warm drink! I recommend getting the grilled cheese and hot chocolate, they are to die for!!

With this partnership we will also be handing out coupons at the toy drive so please come by, talk about the market, and have some amazing coffee!
