The Heinsburg Community Club played an important role in the success of the 2026 Oilmen’s Lobster Fest held on Saturday, May 16th in Bonnyville.

The volunteer group was responsible for planting and assembling approximately 95 flower centerpieces that were displayed throughout the venue. All vases, flowers, and potting soil were supplied by the Oilmen’s organization, while the Heinsburg Community Club dedicated many hours to planting, watering, and maintaining the arrangements to ensure they were vibrant and ready for the event.

In recognition of their efforts, the Oilmen’s organization presented the Heinsburg Community Club with a cheque for $1,280.00. The funds will help support upgrades and improvements to the community hall, including the kitchen facilities.

The Oilmen’s organization sincerely appreciates the hard work and dedication shown by the Heinsburg Community Club in helping make this year’s Lobster Fest a success.

We’re excited to kick off a new fundraiser in support of the Heinsburg Community Club and in honor of playoff season. We have a mens large Draisaitl jersey and a women’s large McDavid jersey.

Tickets are $5 each, with sales closing on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM MST. The winner will be drawn at our Steak Supper and announced on our HCC social media pages.
