A beautiful fall day at Peachduro!

Our patrollers traded the snow for dirt today, providing first aid coverage for the local Peachduro Enduro race right here in Penticton!

Thankfully, it was a relatively quiet day for our first aid team, which meant we had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful fall trails, connect with some awesome people, and take in the great atmosphere, food, and even some prizes!

A big thank you to Freedom Bike Shop for having us out to help keep riders safe and for generously lending us some e-bikes to get around the trails. We appreciate your support.

Practical First Aid Training Day!

Our Apex volunteer ski patrollers were busy brushing up on their first aid skills and practising hands-on rescue techniques as we prepare for another ski season!

From patient assessments to immobilization and packaging, these training days help keep our skills sharp and our team ready for whatever the mountain throws our way.

A big thank you to OSNS (Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society) for generously allowing us to use their space for our training day. We appreciate your support!

And a special shoutout to our patrollers who volunteered to be the patients! 😅

A little teamwork to get our patrol cabin at Apex ready for winter!

A big thank you to all of our volunteer ski patrollers who came out for cabin cleanup day and helped get everything cleaned up and ready for another season.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to Barry & Beecroft Fuel Distributors, Home Hardware Penticton, and Cannery Brewing for generously helping us out with supplies, materials, fuel and beverages for the day. Your support is very much appreciated!

Supporting our community, on and off the slopes.

Two of our patrollers were on hand providing volunteer first aid coverage for the Interior Running Association Penticton 8.2K Trail Race in Penticton. A big thank you to the Interior Running Association for their generous donation in support of our patrol!

Support like this helps us continue the training and work we do throughout our community and on the mountain and keeps us connected to the community in all seasons.

It was a great day to be outside supporting another awesome local event, congratulations to all the runners!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR SKI SWAP SPONSORS!

The Canadian Ski Patrol – South Okanagan Boundary Zone would like to extend a huge thank you to Greyback Construction and Betts Electric for their generous support of this year’s Ski & Board Swap.

Events like the Swap wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses and community partners who continue to show up for our volunteer patrol.

Come shop a huge selection of new and used skis, snowboards and winter gear while supporting your local volunteer Canadian Ski Patrol.

📦 Gear drop-off accepted until Saturday at noon
🎿 All unsold items must be picked up by Sunday at noon

Please note: We cannot accept straight skis, hockey equipment, gloves, toques or other accessories.

Tomorrow’s the day!

Time to get that ski & snowboard gear organized and bring it down to the Penticton Curling Rink for our annual Ski & Snowboard Swap!

⛷️ Drop-off starts Friday at 9 AM and continues until Saturday at noon

🏂 Shop the Swap: Friday & Saturday, ending Saturday at 6 PM

📦 Unsold item pickup: Sunday before noon

You'll find copies at the CSP Ski & Board Swap at the Penticton Curling Rink on September 11-12, as well as at ACA's SepTimber event in the Apex Village on September 12.
