🔥 Friendly Reminder to Residents 🔥
As fire danger continues to increase, please remember that Category 2 and Category 3 Fire Restrictions also include the use of fireworks.

During these restrictions, Individuals found using fireworks during a fire prohibition may face fines of up to $1,150, administrative penalties, and may be held responsible for firefighting and associated costs if their actions cause a wildfire.

These restrictions are in place to help protect our communities, homes, and forests from preventable wildfires.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe. Please check official BC Wildfire Service updates for current fire restrictions and prohibitions.

Stay safe. Stay fire smart. Protect our community.

Following the FireSmart Event on April 25th, a kids' coloring contest was held, attracting three young participants. Due to the difficulty in selecting a single winner during tonight's practice, it was decided that all three kids would be recognized as winners. The winners, Danika, Bella, and an unnamed child who provided only a phone number, are invited to visit the Fire Hall next Wednesday between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm to collect their prizes and receive a tour of the hall. Thanks so much for participating.
