SCMBC Trail Build Day @ The Heights – This Sunday
Want to be part of building the future of riding at The Heights?
This year SCMBC is focused on making the Heights Enduro Trails more rideable, more progressive, and more fun for everyone. We’re working on new trail improvements and progression lines that will help open up more terrain for intermediate riders and weekend warriors, while keeping the trails fun for advanced riders too.
But trails don’t build themselves.
This is your chance to give back to the trails we all ride and help shape the future of the Heights. The more people we get out, the lighter the work becomes and the more ground we can cover together.
Never been to a trail day before? No problem. There’s work for everyone:
• pulling brush
• moving sticks and debris
• raking corridor
• trimming branches
• hauling wood
• general cleanup
No trail building experience needed — just a willingness to help out. But, a trail builder with experience and chainsaw certification is a huge PLUS!!!
Lead Builder: Brad Turner
PM Manda Freyman you'll be there
When: Sunday, May 31st,
Meet: 8:45am
Build Time: 9am-12noon
Meeting Spot:
Lower SCMBC approved parking lot at The Heights

• Work gloves
• Long sleeves/pants
• Boots (steel-toe recommended)
• Safety glasses or eyewear
Tools will be provided.
Come lend a hand, meet some good people, and help build the trails we’ll all be riding for years to come.

6am Walsh trail blow. The amount of work a few hardcore volunteers has accomplished is astonishing. There's still more work to be done.
Go for a hike and toss some branches to help the crew out.

Has anyone found the new rest spot addition in Oro trails? Great to watch the sun set. Go find it!
