The Harvey Hall

The Harvey Hall Harvey Hall is a community space where history and memories are created, knowledge can be shared, neighbours become friends, and visitors can wonder.

Its history has provided a community connection that has always been important in Albert County and that way of life must be protected with the preservation of the building. Since 1884, the Hall has hosted parties, weddings, anniversaries, concerts, school rooms, farmers' markets and exhibitions, memorials, and variety shows. Its architecture was designed by local Harvey-born architect brothers, J

ames and Merritt Reid. 2021 marks the hall's 137th year and volunteer efforts to re-open its doors are aggressively seeking funding, helpers, stories, photos, and interest.

Hello friends of Harvey Hall,

Many folks have asked if there is a way beyond becoming a board member to help out. While there are not always opportunities to volunteer on a casual basis, one has popped up! If you have been wanting to help out without the long term commitment, now is the time!

We are looking for help with building stabilization under expert supervision for one weekend. Please reach out if this opportunity interests you.

📅Please be advised that the board of directors meeting that was originally scheduled for tonight has been moved to Monday, August 17th. Still at 6:30pm, still at the Albert County Health Center. Unfortunately, both sessions of our paper making workshop originally scheduled for September must be cancelled. If you registered, you should have received an email advising you of the cancellation.

Because of our current lack of building and dwindling size of the board, your only chances to attend Harvey Hall events will be our two upcoming concerts. Grab your tickets quickly - they are expected to be limited at the door!
