Happy Small Business Week from the Harrison-Agassiz Chamber of Commerce!
From the farms of Agassiz to the storefronts of Harrison Hot Springs, the makers, entrepreneurs, tradespeople and tourism operators throughout the Harrison River Valley are the heart of our local economy.
And there are some pretty incredible things about doing business in our little corner of the Fraser Valley!
Did you know? Approximately 50% of the District of Kent's land is within the Agricultural Land Reserve. Agriculture is deeply rooted in our region, supporting generations of farming families and local businesses.
We are a destination! Harrison Hot Springs is one of BC's designated resort municipalities, and our region is home to everything from farm tours and artisan shops to outdoor adventures, hospitality and year-round tourism experiences.
We've been connecting business since 1979! For 47 years, the Harrison Agassiz Chamber of Commerce has represented our regional business community, championing local enterprise, building relationships and advocating for a stronger economy.
As the Voice of Business we know that a thriving community depends on the people willing to invest in it. The people who open their doors each morning, create jobs, take chances, support local causes and find ways to keep moving forward.
This Small Business Week, we're celebrating the determination, creativity and contribution of our local business community.
Every local business has a story. Every entrepreneur has a reason they started. And every one of them plays a part in the future of our region.
Here's to the businesses that make Harrison, Agassiz and the surrounding communities such an incredible place to live, work and grow.
Tag a local business that deserves a little extra love this week! 💚
