Pat Morrison was born and raised in Mount Forest, Ontario. After completing school, she began her career working in various law offices, gaining eight years of experience in real estate, estates, litigation, and corporate legal work.
She later married and spent over 25 years farming outside Holstein, Ontario, where she helped operate a large mixed agricultural business feeding approximately 1,200 head of cattle and managing 800 acres of farmland while raising five children.
Pat has held several leadership and administrative roles throughout her career. She served as Administrator for the South Grey Regional Snowmobile Association, overseeing 600 km of trails and a team of 20 employees. She also held the position of Operations Director for District 4 with the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) and contributed to the organization's Human Resources Committee, where she assisted in developing policy and procedures.
Following the passing of her husband, Pat served as Office Administrator for Lewis Land & Stock in Holstein, Ontario, for 12 years. The operation includes a large-scale livestock and agricultural enterprise marketing approximately 25,000 lambs annually, managing 6,000 acres of crops, a purebred Red Angus herd, dairy operations, a trucking division, and solar operations, with over 20 employees.
Pat also served as Controller for the Holstein Rodeo for over 14 years, overseeing ticket sales, camping operations, and entertainment coordination for a major annual festival that welcomed more than 25,000 attendees each weekend.
In addition to her professional work, Pat supported her daughter Megan Morrison's country music career, assisting with management and travel across Canada and the United States, contributing to two #1 hits on the Nashville Independent Country Chart.
She currently works as a private consultant, assisting businesses with QuickBooks setup, office administration systems, and hiring support.
Pat has also contributed to her community through volunteer service, including serving as Treasurer for the Egremont Optimist Club for several years.
Pat's earlier interests included raising and racing sled dogs. Today, she enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, kayaking, and performing in productions with the Holstein Drama Group.
Pat Morrison has recently been appointed as a Director to the Saugeen Hospice Board of Directors, where she brings her extensive experience in administration, governance, and community leadership in support of the organization's mission.
