🎤 Artist Announcement – Jaye Woods 🤍

We’re proud to welcome Jaye Woods to the SFMH 2026 stage.

Blending rap, melody, and raw emotion, Jaye creates music for the tender-hearted, the kind that sits with you, speaks to you, and reminds you you’re not alone. As both a seasoned emcee and a practicing therapist, his work lives at the powerful intersection of Hip-Hop and healing.

Since arriving in Hamilton in 2022, Jaye has quickly become a standout voice in the local scene, performing at the Hart Music Series, 905 Fest, Fresh Up Fest, and even opening for Shad at Bridgeworks.

But what truly sets him apart is his presence on stage.

His performances feel less like a show and more like a heart-to-heart with a friend, filled with honesty, laughter, and vulnerability. It’s real, it’s uplifting, and it’s exactly what Sing For Mental Health is all about.

🎧 His latest EP, Sensitive, is out now.

This is going to be something special.

🎶 Friday Artist Announcement 🎶

We’re excited to welcome Eric Jackson & Willow River to the SFMH 2026 stage!

Crafting songs that feel like autumn… Warm, textured, and timeless. This group blends alternative country, bluegrass, and folk/Americana into something truly special. Their music is rooted in rich harmonies, powerful storytelling, and a deep connection to the land they call home.

Based in Ontario’s Waterloo Region, the name Willow River comes from the original (pre-colonial) name of the Grand River, a meaningful tribute to the area’s Indigenous heritage and Eric’s Métis identity.

Introducing the Team Behind SFMH 2026 🤍

Every year, Sing For Mental Health comes together because of a small group of passionate people who believe deeply in the power of music, community, and open conversations about mental health.

This is the team working behind the scenes to make SFMH 2026 possible.

Founded by Cam Wilson, Sing For Mental Health was created with a simple but powerful mission: to bring people together through music while raising awareness and support for mental health.

Standing beside him are an incredible group of people who help bring that vision to life:

✨ Julia Russell – Co-Founder and Cam’s partner in crime, helping guide the heart and direction of the event.

✨ Tiffany Luvv – Co-Founder, artist, and community builder who continues to advocate for indie artists and mental health awareness.

✨ Nathan Cee – Co-Founder and one of the original supporters of the event who has been there through every stage of its growth.

✨ Nick Marinac – Head of Marketing and Media, helping share the story and message of SFMH with the world.

Together, this team works to create more than just a concert. They help build a space where artists and audiences can connect, share their stories, and remind each other that no one has to face mental health struggles alone.

We’re proud to introduce the people helping make SFMH 2026 happen.

With Our First Artist Announcement For SFMH 2026…

Lio & the Strays don’t ask for your attention, they take it. The York Region/GTA-based 4-piece pulls from the roots of pop, rock, and the blues, forging something they simply call Soul Rock: raw, feeling-first music that doesn’t apologize for being loud or honest. Lio’s voice leads the charge, magnetic and unfiltered, backed by a band that plays like they’ve got nothing left to lose. Their live performance at the Vintage Venture in Niagara Falls captured that energy in full, a recording that showcases the band at their most visceral. They’ve since taken the stage on CMCTV Talent, bringing their sound to a wider audience and earning a feature in the press along the way. With a show at The Supermarket on the horizon, Lio & the Strays are a band on the move. Catch them before the rooms get bigger.

Come See Lio & the Strays Live @ SFMH 2026 On July 5th!

Meet the Team – Nathan Cee 🤍

Some people are there from the very beginning, through every idea, every challenge, and every win. Nathan Cee is one of that person for us.

As a Co-Founder of Sing For Mental Health, Nate has been part of this event’s journey from the start. He’s watched it grow, supported it through its ups and downs, and helped shape it into the community-driven event it is today.

If you’ve attended SFMH, chances are Nate was one of the first faces you saw when you walked through the doors. As our door host, he welcomes everyone into the space with warmth and energy, setting the tone for the night before the music even begins.

But Nate’s role in this movement goes far beyond that. His support for this event comes from a deep belief in the cause and from his close friendship with founder Cam Wilson. He understands just how important it is to create a space where people can come together, connect through music, and feel supported when it comes to mental health.

Loyal, supportive, and always ready to help wherever he’s needed, Nate has been a huge part of helping Sing For Mental Health become what it is today.

We’re incredibly lucky to have him as part of the heart of this team. 🤍

Meet the Team – Nick Marinac 🎬

We needed someone who knew how to tell a story, and for us, that person is Nick Marinac, our Head of Marketing and Media.

Nick is the creative mind helping bring SFMH to life online and beyond and he plays a huge role in making sure this event reaches the people who need it most.

Working closely with the team, Nick helps shape the voice and message of Sing For Mental Health, using his skills in media and marketing to shine a light on the artists, the mission, and the community behind it all.

But for Nick, this isn’t just work, it’s personal. Through his own experiences and understanding of mental health, he knows how important it is to create space for real conversations and real support. That passion is what drives him to help push this movement forward.

Thanks to Nick’s dedication and creativity, the message of SFMH continues to reach further.

We’re incredibly grateful to have him helping us share this mission with the world. 🤍
