Weekend Training is officially back at lion! 🦁

Here are the opportunities that are offered!
👇

Marksmanship practices:
Come out to HMCS Star for Marksmanship/ Range practices every Friday at 18:30-21:00! These sessions are open to all cadets who want to come out and try something new or are interested in the range team. (Phase ones must complete a safe handling assement to be promoted past able cadet. This is possible during these times!)

Drill, Naval Communications, and side party:
Come out on Sundays at 13:00-16:00 at the barracks for training! Improve your drill, get communications levels, and join Po2 Gibbs, K for tryouts to join the side party for the upcoming Battle of the Atlantic mess dinner!

We hope to see you there cadets! 🦁⚓️

With Sunday's portion concluded, we are proud to announce we had many successful candidates on our Marine Basic First Aid course!

A huge thank you goes out to Mr. Gareth Ledger for providing such excellent and engaging instruction on this challenging course. For his efforts in creating a dynamic, fun, and often times humorous learning environment that had a profound effect on the cadet's experience, he was presented a ship's coin by our coxswain CPO1 Frith.

As well, we would like to thank HMCS Star / NCSM Star for the use of their facilities so that we were able to provide this opportunity in the first place.

Day 1 of Marine Basic First Aid training is underway!
