Governing the Ungovernables

Counter Revolutionary Hamilton is an anonymous watchdog for violent protest movements in Steel City proper- we organize action against revolutionary ideologues and independently collect and publish information on the structure of their networks, their plans, and their leaders, in defense of our community.

We know of several groups in Hamilton that are actively organizing and encouraging the violence we see against people and property, escalating the violence and disruption with each passing year. But for those willing to look, there is an obvious trail of evidence that leads to specific groups, people, and spaces, who actively conspire against our community and shame our city. Groups that we actively, internally monitor because they meet our risk criteria, are:

Make no mistake, these groups want nothing less than a comprehensive, violent revolution of the system instead of meaningful reforms, have zero regard for the brave men and women at Hamilton Police, do not respect your livelihood or dissent, and are willing to use whatever means necessary to achieve their political goals. They adeptly use rhetoric and lies to spin stories in their favour, hide behind epithets of 'love' and 'community' while endorsing hatred and bigotry, intimidate and subvert to force a message instead of reason, and actively disrupt open debate and expression at our institutions of higher learning.

We’ve seen these tactics play out more publicly than ever lately, on Locke street and on campus. But last week, when these cowards hid behind masks and threw stones at small businesses and cars, Hamilton came together in an incredible display of support for the victims that made them far more money than the damages incurred. Our community showed that perverted, uninformed notions of social justice, and achieving them through violence, would not distract us from constantly working to improve our city.

Sadly, that isn’t enough.

Wherever they plan to strike, wherever they run and hide, we see them.
