Friends of SAGE: Scholastic Arts and Global Education The Scholastics Arts and Global Education (SAGE) Program is a program of choice within the HWDSB. The SAGE Program is built around five fundamental goals:

1.

Initiated by a group of dedicated parents familiar with existing “alternative” programs elsewhere in Ontario, SAGE started as a proposal to launch an “alternative” program in Hamilton. Establish partnership between parents and teachers
2. Use innovative teaching methods
3. Build community between school, home and neighbourhood
4. Incorporate global education into the curriculum
5. Foster the arts and physical education
