The McMaster Game Development Association has been developed in response to the outgoing number of students at McMaster University interested in game project development. The main incentive of MacGDA is for students to utilize there many skills in the multidisciplinary fields of: game development, 3D modeling, concept art, programming, and the psychology of games. As an official McMaster Universit
y club, MacGDA is a hub for students outside of McMaster to become part of an association based on the principle of student run learning, and the sharing of innovative ideas. This open-minded principle will allow students in high school, and perhaps students from universities across Canada, to join in MacGDA, share ideas, and hopefully develop their own game development associations in the future. As an open group, MacGDA will continually innovate and create new projects and designs, with the help of individuals from different faculties. Students across the faculties of Engineering, Computer Science, and the Humanities, will all be needed in order for this great student run association to continue to thrive. If you are interested in joining the McMaster Game Development Association, or wish to share ideas please post a message on our page, or please contact our founders Abdul Khodr and/or Tanya Goncalves:
