Hamilton has secured a historic $572 million in federal and provincial funding to accelerate critical infrastructure projects across the city. This investment will help improve roads and transportation connections, expand water and wastewater capacity, and support the development of new housing in communities throughout Hamilton.

As the single largest investment in roads, water and wastewater infrastructure in Hamilton's history, this funding will help advance key projects faster while creating the capacity needed to accommodate future growth. Combined with a three-year elimination of development charges on new residential developments, this investment will help make it easier to build the homes Hamilton residents need.
